That was done away with a while ago. Once Codewizard came onboard, he determined there was no need to redo the entire engine, it just needed to be cleaned up and recoded in parts, and it would be just as effective.

@slickzero The problem is that the loading times are still not down to zero and the new engine would have solved that.
It may have helped reduce loading times, not eliminate them altogether. You'll never have a game that will go no loading times whatsoever.
GameSalad is working on redoing their code base, which as @SlickZero said, will be just as effective. We've already seen some great results.
