[BUG] Restore Image function is not working properly.

ahiungahiung Member Posts: 36

I was working with my movement animation, discovered this bug, thus I do it manually to fix my project.

How and When I discovered this problem?

I was working with jumping and moving in the air animation, like moving a character from 2 separated platform with jump.

Walking image is not restored properly and stuck at 1 point.

Lets say, you have 6 frames in your walking animation(no matter left or right).

Whenever you JUMP WHILE PRESSING LEFT OR RIGHT and release it when you landed on ground, the Idle image will changed to whichever unlucky frame you chosen with pressing JUMP button.

This is how I explain in other way, numbers represent your walking/running frames.

1-2-3-4-5-6-1-2-3-4-5-6-1-2-[JUMP]-[still pressing L or R button]-[landed on ground]-[release L or R]

So, guess what image will show while you standing and do nothing?

Yes, you will see number 2 frame walking/running.

I already fix this with un-checking the restored image function, and do new rule with replacing method.

I will be happy if someone confirmed this, also someone who is expert take their time to look at this.

Thank you very much

Can you post a screenshot of the rules for animation and jumping?

I turned off the left and right fix, its 2 row at the end.

Since I'm still working on other animations, I'll use Left arrow, Right arrow, space keyboard for now, it's easier to test rather than using touch command that I already put on the screen.

and you can turn the "[ ]Restore actor image when done" on for the L R animations if you want to, it changes nothing anyway.
