Hi guys,

My new game YOMP is out and I could desperately do with some feedback. I believe it has a lot of potential, but I just need to get it out there really.

The game is fairly simple, you tilt the screen and try and catch the green balls shot at you. If you miss a green ball or catch a red ball, you lose a life. Purple balls have random effects, and every now and then the monster will start shooting in the other direction so you'll have to rotate the screen to continue eating.

I can give promo codes to anyone interested!

    To be honest ... I wouldn't download this game in the wild. Your choice of screenshots tells the customer little about the gameplay.

    That doesn't mean that the game isn't a gem...

    I find that with games that may be difficult to explain, or you fear that putting it in words would downplay the experience, "action" shots do the trick.

    A few examples:

    Use an arced sideways arrow to indicate that the user would move the phone side to side to move the character.

    Create a trail on the actors that would move; the balls falling, the player moving to one side or the other.

    Thanks very much for this post, I really appreciate it!

    Do you think the game description itself is lacking, because I did feel that it was descriptive enough but I could very well be wrong. I agree with your advice on the screenshots though, I'll update them now and get them up!

    Did you try the game at all? I'd love to hear your thoughts on it..

    An honest mistake! I changed the description to make it clearer, and I changed the images as well taking your advice into account. Have you had a chance to play it yet? I'd be happy to give you a promo code..
