Some help with tables and text input

I want the user to enter text (vocabulary words) and have that saved (to a table I am assuming) to be used later - just wondering if there is a way to have the users modify the table or if I am going about this the wrong way

Use Keyboard Input action to get the users input in an attribute then save the attribute to the table.

I apologize - I am very new to gamesalad and have been able to find most of what I am trying to do in demos and tutorials. Can you please post a screenshot or list the logic steps/rules that I need - I simply want the students to enter words (text) into a table - I assume i need to use the add row action (probably at the beginning) and then save the text to that table (row 1, col 1)

What I gave you above is how you do it. If you are having difficulty then you need to go to the Cookbook tutorials and work your way through to learn all the basics. You will then understand how it works and be able to do it yourself.

This is really basic and if someone does this for now you will just run into the next problem in a couple of minutes and be back here and then the next one and so on. Take the time now learn, it is great software to use and a lot easier to work with once you know the basics.

Also posting a test project showing the problem where you are stuck helps a lot and usually gets a quicker response. No need in the case what you are asking is not difficult.
