How to load a project made with PC onto MAC in gamesalad

I've just bought a MAC an am trying to transfer over my project files from PC by USB but having no luck uploading, it seems to be locked or something. I've tried to do it both it zipped and unzipped but nothing.

    You can freely do this transition without having to worry about version numbers. All Windows projects should open up on a Mac. To transfer your project from Windows to Mac:
    1. Open your project in Windows Creator
    2. Select the 'export' option in the file menu
    3. Take your exported project over to a Mac computer
    4. Open the project in Mac Creator
