What the title says. And I have searched both Google, and here, and neither searches have helped me. I'm trying to test my game on my iPod Touch, and it keeps saying the provisioning profile is expired, despite being less than an hour old.

Check the Provisioning profile in your Apple developers site to make sure its okay, re-download and then drop it into itunes and overwrite the old one, then re-sync your iTouch. You may ned to turn in on/off to update.

    Good luck

hmmmmm, not sure about the itouch, but on the iphone you can go into the SETTINGS > GENERAL > PROFILES to look at their status and delete them off the device there, that may be worth a try, then restart.

I've seen this problem before. On one of my 3G iPhones I couldn't get any of me dev apps to run. It kept telling me the [Provisioning Profile has expired], but like yourself I knew the profile was good.

Turned out there WAS a very old profile on the 3G. Once that ONE single profile was deleted - all was good again. The crazy thing was it didn't affect my other iDevices and the OLD profile was for a completely different App. But once deleted all was well and the out came the sun :-)

    On your iPod/iPhone goto:
    1. Settings
    2. General
    3. Profiles
    4. Locate OLD profiles and delete

    Hope that helps

Ah thats annoying, it kept doing that to me, in the end i just deleted all profiles off of my phone and the dev site and setup a new one. When you open up the xcode project i think you can go to window/organiser and it shows the profiles for your device, if you can, cant remember, delete them form their as well. Sorry, not on the mac at the mo so cant check properly. You can do all that in like 15 mins and be back up and running, better than faffing around trying to figure out what is going on. lol.
