Adding keywords in meta data - is it possible?

I want to improve some of my keywording for my apps and wanted to know if it was possible to edit an xml file to add in key words? If so, which would be the best file to edit. If not, is it just a case of being clever with your description only?

Reason I ask, a game out there is pretty popular and similar to one of mine but doing much better on the keyword searches. I've changed my description as a trial to almost copy their wording but still no joy after several weeks.

    Basically what it means is, your APP is ONLY searchable by above mentioned methods. So no need to edit your XML or Description, as those are NOT searchable in the App Store.
