Do the latest GS builders recognise universal builds ?

Hi everyone, i'm working on a universal build ( ipad portait as start platform ) and when i test my game on the GS simulator in the creator on iphone portrait with stretch & iphone legacy portrait with stretch everything fits in the screen whatever the platform i chose.
Getting confused cause i read a lot of threads stating that you had to change camera origin depending on screen size to get everything to fit. Like a system that recognises the platform you're on.
Is this still valid ? And if so, how come all my actor are perfectly displayed with minimal dimension shifts?

    Stretch is new the older threads are talking about Overscan. What your are doing is fine as long as you are happy with the look. For example avid round objects they don't look good when stretched. I just posted a UB Overscan rule for actors have a look at that.
