I ordered this about a year ago today, and they're finally shipping! Can't wait to get my hands on this, and it can run and support N64 games! :)

This is about the only thing that might keep me from Gamesalad for a little while, besides TshirtBooth's Star Daze game that kept me away from GS all weekend! :)

Looks pretty cool. Where do you buy and for how much? It says it can even run dreamcast emulation... wonder how well it handles that. Shenmue on a handheld would be pretty sweet.

"Have you seen any men in black suits...?" :) Classic Shenmue

Not sure about Dreamcast, I paid for it a year ago and think it was around the high 200's, it was converted from pounds, but it's very cool b/c it's open source, and one of the only handheld emulator's on the market that claims to handle N64 games, they even had a video showing how smoothly it runs N64! All I can say is, portable Paper Mario, and Zelda! :)

There's a video of N64 games on Pandora!!

Looks pretty good. I have mario 64 on my PSP and it actually runs very well, but Paper Mario and Zelda are choppy on it. This looks like it can handle it all though. Does it use the same roms you'd use on a PC?

Not sure yet, I would think it would use the exact same roms, they just need devs to create emulators for it.... particularly the N64 emulator! :)

I actually pre-ordered one of these back in 2008. (Think they were originally supposed to ship December 2008)
But they then had some issue with their bank, and everyone had to "re-preorder", and I never bothered.

Kinda want one again now after looking at the vids.
Seems to run snes/megadrive(genesis for you yanks) at full speed
N64 looks promising, as does Mame emulation on it.
pretty pricey at $300...was a decent price back when the £ was like £1 to $2..not so sure now :)
Also, looks like they are not taking orders yet till they have fullfilled their initial pre-orders.

oh...and if it's anything like the gp2x etc, it will use the same roms you use on a pc

Yea the price has turned people off some, but it is the most powerful portable to run emulators, GPWiz will never be able to run N64 or PS1, only SNES, Genesis and the like

Good point Sparky, I preordered mine I think after the banking problem, so I'm probably not in the first 1,000 preorders, but I emailed them asking if mine is shipping yet.... so excited to try it out!

This thing just reminded me of the Infinium Labs Phantom... was a phantom indeed. Can anyone say "vapourware"?

If you do get your hands on one finally, let us know... was a bold move putting money down on that!!! Then again, I bought two copies of Pier Solar for Mega Drive, which looks like it will never see the light of day... LOL.

    lol @polygame

Units are shipping as we speak, but you're right, it was taking a chance! I always put it on my Credit Card so I can easily dispute it if anything comes up :)

I'll let you know! Waiting to hear from them.... I only got it for one thing... the rumor that N64 games would operate on this thing :)
