flip picture and change colors

i have some space ships drawn up, but want to know if i can flip the image in GS so it will face the other way. i left some white in the pictures to change later on using GS after u select your teams color. is there a way to get that to work?

To flip . . . . double click the actor to bring up its attributes . . . scroll down to Graphics - open the drop down and click on 'Flip Horizontally' or 'Flip Vertically'.
The white to colour question . . . . .
When you change the colour of the actor the whole image is coloured, but of course you see it most clearly in white areas . . . . so if you just want the white areas to change you would need to separate them out from the rest of the actor's image (do it outside of GS, in Photoshop or whatever you use) - then constrain the two elements together, the main image and the separate white areas image . . . . then you can apply the colour to the white areas without colouring the main image.
