I considering teaming up with someone (who shall remain nameless) who is offering to pay me $200 in return for a 12.6% share of my iDevice related application sales...

The $200 is meant to cover the dev licensing fees required by both Apple and GS.

Any thoughts, suggestions, warnings?

I haven't released anything as of yet. I did show them a few games I have in my "pipeline" though...

Heres what I would recommend..... When I was learning GS, I through together a game real fast and it has already made me over $200.... I have another 2 games coming out in the next week.. One of them it good the other one be freeware/ advertising....

Honestly if I can do that, anyone can...

In the long run it will probably be better for you to not do this deal... but if you want / need the cash now, might as well take it.... Especially if you want the new iPhone 4g/ HD.. Which I will be getting soon

I would love to start dropping games now and watch the dough roll in... Problem is, I'm strapped for cash. For me to come up with the money on my own would take about 7 months (x-mas bonus). I already sunk what was left of last year's bonus (after the wife got done with it) on my MacBook...

Besides, 12.6% of 0 is still 0... ;-)

Oh, do you not already have the licenses? I thought you did... Yeah if you don't take the cash and get the licenses and start generating $$$$$$$
