Also if you do think of a good name snap it up in itunes connect (pop any old icon and set date to 6 months ahead and upload app later) as you don't want someone stealing it!

    How can I do this?
    Thanks

Just go to iTunes connect like you would for submitting a finished app, but check the upload binary later box.

My game sold 23 yesterday :) sales are improving a bit now, these are ok sales considering I am only 14.

A strategy for some of you to try if you are making no sales is try to make it free for half the day or a bit of the day so it can go up the charts and get recognized more, and then for the rest of the day make it paid. If your sales are getting good sales then you should just keep it how it is. Try it if you are making nothing on some days because then you really have nothing to lose with experiments like this. I remember I tried this once when my game sold only 2 the day before and by the next day I got around 15 sales because of that.

Just throwing out some thoughts :)

This is a great thread we've got going here, guys! Keep posting your games and let us know about them. I'll tell my friends about your games.

Skott, I love the DriftClubRacer idea and I'll check it out soon. Design219, FoodFight! immediately jumped out at me. I'll check that one out soon too!

I do have a question for you guys. Has anyone noticed a difference in sales between the $99 GS subscription, with the GS logo load screen, and the $2000 version without? Also, have the reviewers subsequently ever made comments about your game being a GameSalad game, and therefore not worth the cost? I saw something like that in GS made game review one time.

This has prevented me from making the final judgment call as to which version to buy. I'd like to hear your thoughts on this.

My game SpaceScape has sold only 25 copies since its release.

I will keep you all updated on my progress. I recently submitted it to http://www.appsafari.com/ so hopefully we will see a jump in sales.

Good work! When I was your age (wow, that makes me sound old), I made about that every week by copying Commodore 64 games... no, I'm not proud I was a pirate... I actually had no idea it was illegal (was a pretty thick 14 year old) until I got called up and told to cease! I did... went back to being poor...

    But well done!!!

Does anyone know how long it usually takes for an ap to be review approve and published from the day I submit it?

Every app I uploaded so far took exactly 7 days. Usually 5-6 days "waiting for review" and 1-2 "in review".
