Tips on Making Money From Games

Hey guys, here's a few tips on making money from your games. This isn't promoting but a free way to make some dollars. It would also help to have pro if you're reading this.
1. I-Ads: This is one of the most simple ways in my opinion. Buy I-Ad if you haven't already, then place ONE ad on each screen EXCEPT the playing screen. Don't wanna jack it up with ads cause it gets a bit laggy playing it. If 50-75 people play your game a day this is $1-$15 a day just from ads.
2. In-app Purchases: Adding in-app purchases is simple but there's more to it. You have to make good deals and create more than just coins for purchase. For example: In my game, Meow Meow! (which is still in progress) here's what my in-app purchases are.
No Ads 0.99
2,000 Gold 0.49
5,000 Gold 0.99
15,000 Gold 1.99
40,000 Gold 4.99
Bonus Map Pack (5 extra maps, 2 times the amount of apps you get normally) 0.99
Ever-lasting Powerups (Yes, I have a name for this powerup but I rather not release much info b4 I release my game.) 1.99

I've got more in mind that aren't here. But a store like this is way more exciting than a store that just has no ads and 100 gold for sale. Also, with the gold purchases, each time you go up in price, you get a better deal as in the quantity of the gold. If you have 100 people in your shop a day, at least 20 will be tempted to buy something, which will bring at least $30 a day.
3. Money Up Front: I don't prefer this method but it does work if you have a really good game, I'm not gonna talk about this one cause it's a bit complicated.

That's it! Hope these were helpful! Also, here's another promoting post if you need more tips: http://forums.gamesalad.com/discussion/70883/a-few-promoting-tips#latest

Out of curiosity, can I ask if you have any experience first hand with any of this, or if this is all in theory?

That seems like numbers you just came up with. If you have 100 people in your shop each day, you can get everything from 0 to 100 sales. It all depends on the quality of your game and what you're offering. Sure, 20 people may be tempted to buy something, but that doesn't mean you will get 20 sales.

Exactly what I meant, it matters on not just the quality on the game, but the quality of the shop too. If people feel like their being ripped off, probably the estimate would be close to 0. But there really is no right answer, I honestly just made up a estimate to show people new to GS how much money one game can make.
