How can i make a dot connection game?

Hello.
I am trying to make a connection game.

Let´s say i have blue and red color. I want to connect blue to blue, but not blue to red. And i also want a "line" when i am connecting. How can i do this?

There is a game called "Dots". I want to make something simular, but not quite same. I just need to know how to make the connections work..
