Can I open a project I've been working on in pc, in a mac?

Hey guys
Wanting to purchase a mac but I am afraid that it wont open my project because ive been working on it on pc. Can I just copy my files over to mac and make it work?

I believe from the Windows version there is an 'export as macintosh' option under the file menu.
