Splash screen app rejection

I didn't upload a splash screen as a non pro member, when I submitted my first app. I see some members had their apps rejected because of the default black splash screen. Will my app be rejected if I don't upload a custom splash screen?

    Anyone? I've gone ahead and submitted with a custom splash anyway, but just want to know for the future. I can't see why it would get rejected, but like I said, I saw some posts about apple rejected because of a black screen on load?
