My iPHONE app was rejected for not displaying the correct resolution on the iPAD.

I had this problem once before, but forgot how I solved it.

Anybody know the quick answer?

I checked "overscan" when publishing the binary. Is this correct?

It depends on an app. I use overscan, but I spawn interface element in different positions for different screen ratio. IF you don't want to do extra work, I would advice to use letterbox. You can see how your app looks on iPad with overscan using game salad preview. You can preview in any screen ration you want.

If you choose overscan, then the device will zoom in on the game until your iPad game (assuming the game is your new timber granny iPad game) width reaches the width of the device. The problem with this is it will cut off the top and bottom of the game and therefore be rejected by apple as it won't display correctly.

The only way is either change the logic in the game to fit iPhone devices or the easy option is to use the STRETCH option which will In fact shrink the iPad game to a iPhone device. This will however cause a distortion of your art and should be tested on a device to see if it is compatible.
