Cant test-play game in Gamesalad?

in Working with GS (PC)

In Game Salad when I go to test play my game by clicking the green 'Play' button it comes up but shows none of the scenes whatsoever.
Does anyone know what causes this and how to correct it?

    Did you try clicking the refresh button?

    There should be on the top of your screen once you're previewing your game, a curved arrow.
