Multiplayer is still in alpha and is being tested via nightly builds. Multiplayer is very complex and one needs a solid understanding of basic coding in GS.
If you have not completed a single player centric game, jumping into MP is not a good idea and it will be waaaaaay easier with experience with the foundations of GS.

I don't think GameSalad supports multiplayer yet. I believe it's out in the next version.
