Help with the "Snake Game"

Hello people,
Yes, I am new to GS and so have some questions. Any kind of help would be much appreciated.
As all of you have idea about snake game i.e the snake eats food and grows in size.
I don't know what to do in order to make the snake grow every time it eats the food.
Another thing is how can I stop the game when the head of snake touches its body or reaches the walls of game?
I'll still have many more doubts and so I will surely require you guy's helps. Kindly help me in finishing this game ASAP.

    Thanks tatiang! I have already started developing the game. If someone could provide instructions here then I could get some help as I cannot understand the working properly in this template.

    You have a template for free that you can learn from. That is your instructions. Pull it apart, see what is going on and have fun learning. There are many ways to make a Snake type game. Nothing anyone else can really do for you unless you give more detail on how you are setting up the game.
    My advice would to use the template to learn.
