Im creating a new game for the iphone, but have realised it could be better on ipad. I don't have an ipad so im wondering how accurate a representation etc the ipad viewer gives.

Are the graphics scaled and processed to appear as they will on the ipad etc?

Cheers

I find it to be quite accurate (now that I got it working) but nothing beats testing on an actual device. That said, the iPad display is denser (132 ppi), so the 1024x768 display will likely be smaller than 1024x768 on your computer (depending on the resolution of your monitor). Over here, the iPad is about 20% smaller than the GS live area on my Dell monitor. Actor behaviors, movement, and animation is on par with the computer, but over here, constraining an actor to the mouse position runs with latency on the iPad (but acceptably).

I haven't built anything with dozens of actors moving simultaneously so I can't speak to how it handles lots of motion.

    Thanks,

I'm going to try and borrow someones ipad for testing, but at least I know I can carry on developing with a good amount of certainty that it's going well!
