Howdy Creators,

We're happy to be releasing our public database today, built on that stalwart foundation of bug reporting, Bugzilla. We've been testing it with the Sous Chefs and PRO users for a couple of weeks now, and have ironed out the major issues. We've also imported all of the filed bugs from our internal system, so you should be able to find and track any issues you have previously noted.

Currently, voting has been implemented only for PRO users. We're working on bringing voting to all users, because we believe that that level of input from everyone can be helpful for prioritizing our resources. We'll also be working [slowly] on updating the design to bring it more in line with the rest of our website.

Lastly, here are some resources on using Bugzilla and writing effective bug reports. We know that Bugzilla has its quirks, as some folks have noted, so we hope that the information on these pages will be of use.

We believe that this bug system will be of great use to everyone. If there any features you want to see added, feel free to file a bug at http://bugs.gamesalad.com!

Love it! Just submitted the floating point rounding error I came up against the other day I was consistently crashing the creator before but in my testing it appears that 0.11.1.11 may have fixed it, so yay to that!

Hi, i want to report a bug. If i'm in wrong thread, let me know so i can find right team.
On windows version, there's no way to select multiple rules. Hope fix this soon, because i think it's very basic command in a software.

Thanks @BlackCloakGS I submitted it to Public Bug Database.. Hopefully this simple addition can be added as it would help expand into other app development avenues with Gamesalad.

Received response about the issue (bug) that android apps do not launch embedded browser so that it does not break or close the application and I was told that this could not be recreated... What? Its a issue that continues to be ignored... It works in iOS games (embedded browser) but does not work in android.. others have posted about this issue... Frustration builds and the look for other game dev options continues...

Why we cant choose more than 5 bugs or new feature.

I get an error like that;

You tried to use 6 votes in the Creator product, which exceeds the maximum of 5 votes for this product.

--Use Android "expansion files" for apps over 50 MB
--Polygonal collision support
--Admob integration
--Google Play Game Services
--Update the reset scene behavior

I want these but also I want the other stuff.

there is another aspect of these bugs,I dont think to add more than 5 of them in 1 year,if so,useless to complain.

@onelasttime I use my votes for features only bugs will get fixed in order of GS priority anyway so I think it is a waste of a vote. Having only five votes is a good way for GS to rank what features are important to the majority of its users. Otherwise we would all vote for everything and they wouldn't have a clue.

@BlackCloakGS‌ @colander Is this correct? If I put up a bug report, or vote for one already listed, it counts as one out of five that I'm allowed in 12 months?

I don't mean to be a "smart A", but what if someone finds more than 5 bugs, that no-one else has listed, that they want to report in a 12 month period?

Is colander also correct in saying that a feature vote uses up a bug report/vote?

I dont think gamesalad can fix five of them in one year,their plans and our request may take a long time to done.

@PhilipCC you can make as many feature requests and bug reports as you like but you only get five votes. I don't waste my votes on bug reports as I think GS will fix them in order of importance no matter how many votes it gets because it is a bug and needs to be fixed anyway. A feature on the other hand is different and they within reason will implement them in order of importance to us so this is where I use my votes.

I think you get votes back as things are completed and you can change your vote anytime you want. Maybe someone from GS can clear that up.

As far as I can tell when an item is closed the votes don't automatiy come back to you. However once you see the item is close you can take your votes off the closed item and apply them to any item you want.
