Speed

Hey I wanted to know why my game salad game is slow on my iphone but on my Mac the speed is okay? I also wanted to know how I can make it to where you cant pass over it at the top (The game is similar to flappy bird) ever time i press enough time the bird manages to go over the pole and not come down???
