I don't think its fair that non pro users cant help pro users. If the gs kitchen team are worried about non pro members getting help from other comments on a pro gamesalad forum, hide the other comments for non pro's. Like seriously, if i was pro, id want everyone to be able to help me. Just my thoughts...

If you're looking for help, you can still post in the general gamesalad categories, you don't have to post in the pro category. Now, pros may wish to pay inf the pro category if their question is related to a pro feature. So it makes sense. Plus, us long time pro users wanted a private forum. : )

I wasn't saying its not fair for non pros (me) because i haven't payed for rights to that forum, but i hate that i cant comment and help people because their question was posted in the pro forum. But I get what you've said, it does make sense. But alot of the time pro questions arent about pro features (which is why I've wanted to give input). Dam you pros! hahaha :p

I agree somewhat...that there should not be a pro section. I was completely noob...went "pro"....it did not make me a pro. I was able...and did...and still do ask stupid questions. Lol.

@Thunder_Child‌ sorry for the late reply. thats exactly my point, I just think if your a pro, you want all the benefits. and being restricted from having non pro users annswer your question is rather limiting the help you can recieve on the forums.

It is your own decision if you post a question in the PRO section of the forum or somewhere else. Out of 22 threads I started, only 5 of those were PRO only. And more than half of those were related to issues or questions with Nightly builds, which only PRO users have access to, so non-PROs couldn't have helped with the questions anyhow.

Now that Nightlies aren't coming out much, the PRO section has a little less purpose, but once nightlies start arriving again, it is actually very helpful to have a section of the Forums dedicated to users who can access them.

If you want to post a general question where you want to get the most answers, post it in one of the Working with GS threads.

@pHghost‌ That's a fair point I'll bow to that :) Maybe my real bicker is about people posting non pro things in the pro forum that many fremium users can help with, i have at least several examples of having answers for pros and having to inbox them instead of posting on the forum.

If you have the answer - shoot them a PM. Being Pro comes with special forum benefits - and if you are really keen on helping people - which is great - become certified and wear a badge :D

Why are people so concerned about the pro forum? There are tons of activity in the non-pro forum. Part of the reason we Pros wanted a private forum was to keep the clutter down for threads related to pro features and nightlys. Plus we wanted a place to share game ideas et.. The idea was if you pay for pro you would be less likely to steal concepts as you could have pro revoked. And who wants to risk losing $300? There are also pro threads that can't be read by non-pro users. Oops I let the cat out of the bag...lol
