Computer controlled Actors AI

I am tring to create a computer actor that does something when it reaches a particular position on the screen. The kicker is I want the action to occur randomly (ie when position x is between a and b at some random point do this...)

Not sure if i've explained this great but please any advice would be helpfull

When you go to select your position click the little "e" box rather than entering a number.

You will have the option select random. Then you can enter max and min.

You can do this separately for x, and y

Thanks Zepplin I actually solved it by using an invisible object that moved up and down at random speeds and when my computer controlled actor came in contact with the box it performed its actions... Sweet!
