new game idea: drunk fat guy

Well, while I wait in anticipation to see how my game will do, im gonna start working on my new project.

So, the idea of the game is to walk this fat drunk guy as far as possible in a side scrolling fashion. At the same time the angle will change up and down depending on how the guy is leaning while walking. I want it to get harder as you progress. And the goal is the vomit as far as possible. The walking increases the score multiplier. But of course, if you fall down, then you just vomit on yourself.

I've kinda got down how I want the movement to be. Currently set to use accelerometer to accelerate in whatever direction. Problem im having is making is making the fat guy randomly move. Most of the things I have tried, the accelerometer movement overrides the random movement or it just kinda glitches him out. Any suggestions?

    I'm sure some people will love it, but having fun with drunks, and fat people is... a little out of out of date. Just one opinion. Good luck with working the control out.

    Oh, and I have a fat chef in my first game. :-)

    use accelerate with other accelerates. Anything else will cancel each other out.

    Look at "Done Drinking" to see a good FREE version of this. It was done in 2008.

    Ah ya, I played that game on the internet a while back. The one I was thinking was gonna bit different than that though. Instead of controlling the guy falling left to right while walking towards you, he is going to move from left to right like a side scroller, falling backward and forward. As he falls forward a separate angle indicator goes down, as he falls back it goes up. It gets harder and harder so you want to have him vomit before you fall down.

    Anyway, I'll put some kind of template together so you can see what im talking about then you can give me your opinion. I have a couple ideas for other games if it doesn't seem like it will be fun.
