Hi, today my update for my game Farm Showdown!, has just made it it the app store (doesn't show up on new releases yet for some reason). In this update I have enhanced graphics, faster performance, compatibility with older devices, and will be making tons and tons of more levels for the next update.     Thanks, really means a lot to me. It was perfect timing for an update, as sales were just starting going down..

    Unfortunatly an update doesn't bump you in the release by date category.

    I wish it did

    Theynchanged that about a year and a half ago.
    Apple was overloaded with everyone updating every two days just for a bump

    Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

    So what categories do they put updated apps in?

    Every thing stays the same

    It will just have a little note by your app thatbsays the version and whatbwas updated

    If someone has your game on their device a little number will pop up over the app store icon to let them know there are apps that can be updated.

    And just in case you are wondering those updates don't count as sales towards your ranking. But your promo codes do.

    Then in the update section they will see the new version notes and can then update that app or update all.
