HELP! Application Loader stuck on "Authenticating with the iTunes store"

Is anyone else having this same problem? Anyone know of a solution?

apple is live streaming the iphone6 announcement, and possible the iwatch. they are getting HAMMERED.

if you still have problems, best to wait an hour and try again once it dies down

Nevermind. Seems to be working now...

As for the solution, it just seemed to of fixed it self...?
