Problem with lighteffect

Hi

i use this simple way to make a lighteffect, its work fine on my android phone but on my iPhone its just dark(no light hole)
i use latest RC ……it.s this i bug?

    Hi @freneticz When in the GSC editor, does the transparent hole show OK? (Possibly a silly question... ;-)

    Also to ask, what iPhone version is it; and are you using an ad-hoc or playing the game using the In-App Previewer; or are both apps published?

    @gyroscope Yes in the editor it works like it should

    Its a iPhone 4 and i installed it on the phone(build it through gamesalad and then send it to phone using testflight, like i have done a million times)
    Have tried 6 different builds today, change layer order and such.......no different

    Hmm, strange... (that's a lot of help, not....) :smile:

    So it looks fine in the Editor, and when pressing preview in GSC on your computer? Has the flashlight mask graphic have any Blending modes on it? (The ones you can set in attributes in GSC, I mean).

    Is this flashlight mask image in the same folder as the other graphics in Layers? Have you put any Rules/behaviours in the flashlight graphic?

    Hang on, perhaps its not constraining properly with the player, so showing the black part of it only... so double check the constrain attributes, might shed some light on it...

    (Shed some light, gettit?) Oh, I thought it was funny. :)

    Yes very strange, editor looks fine and preview to.
    No blending and 2 rules(the constrain x & y), and its working on my android and not iphone....thats the weirdest, if it would not work on either it would probably be programming errors...but now.

    I tried to make the graphic smaller so its not covered the entire screen of the phone but it was only a big black image(no hole)

    Going to make a new lightgraphic and try.

    At last i get it to work, dont really now how, but i delete the image in the images section and delete 2 Music files that i dont use so the projectfile get under 20MB...did a new image and import it (this time no warning about big filesize) so now i wonder what will happen when projectsize go over 20 again.
    And now i have 3 empty actors that i cant delete........

    did the original image have capital letters in the name I've found gs don't like capital named images
