Questions for animation timers and the like!!

  1. How do or how should I make a cooldown-skill-timer more appropriate?
  2. Is using flash mx simplifies the creation of 2d animations, before turning it into image file/s then afterwards importing it to gamesalad?
  3. How should the combo system be more accurate within the duration of a pressed/used/tapped skill on button?
  4. Is having more frames better or make smoother animations?
  5. which is better type to use of image: sprited/isometric/or pseudo-2.5d-ish?
  6. How should I make coloring more 3d like? This is the hardest part for me because I'm merely a newbie on graphics making though.(going to do this after making movement frames from flash mx)

Im going to attempt to answer these questions.

    1. ?

    2. Yes, you can load import images into gamesalad after making them

    3. It is u to you. Easiest would be when touch is pressed - run animation

    4. Having more frames will make your animations look smoother

    5. Easiest to work with would be sprites

    6. Art style is up to you, adding some color and shadows will make your game look more appealing

  • I just want my art to be a little 3d-ish when it's colored and done so that the players can see the features of every unique character I create here. using sprite/s might be nostalgic but not always, because it's too blurred to see the specific moves of any character if played on a mobile.
