Questions about the images on the iphone 6

Hello, i am going to upload my game soon, but just know we have a new version of iphone, my question is : must i change the size of all the images of my game?, the maximum size used in ipad was 2048 x1536 in png images, must i save my images with other size for iphone 6?,
, the resolution to save is still png 24 in 8 bits?, can i use letter box to upload my game to the app store?,
