Did i need to update to ios 8?

I got an iPhone 4s with ios 7.1.1 jailbroken, between 1 months i will pubblish the my games on the appstore, did i need to update to ios 8 to pubblish on the appstore (I would like to keep the jailbreak)?

    The answer is no you don't need to update your phone to iOS 8 to publish your games. However as a developer I find it hard to digest why you have a jail broken phone.... >:)

    I got a jailbroken iPhone to install the various tweak offered by cydia tha can optimize the user interface and experience for example in the iPhone 4s ios 7 killed the battery health so with a tweak that manage the battery health i can 2x its health

    Jail breaking isn't bad , but after a while if you download "bad" tweaks your speed and general stuff slows downs and glitches , however for testing games it can often be easier on.
