Corona Anyone?

Just wondering if anyone here has tried using Corona, and what they think of it. It appears to offer dozens of features way beyond GameSalad, plus access to all kinds of services of the mobile device. Apparently there's no visual editor, which is kind of a negative for me, but it seems to be a more substantial development environment. Thanks for any thoughts.

Hi netdzynr; just found a Wikipedia entry for Corona

so checked it out. It seems to offer more features, but as GS is still in beta perhaps it's a bit unfair to compare them at the moment, I think. Although I suppose when GS is released as 1.0, its features might still not match those of Corona's, but we all live in hope!

You mentioned there's no visual editor, which I agree with you is pretty much a negative against; at least GS has some good – although not fully developed yet – editors. The last thought of mine is one of the major aspects to GS is it's "an environment for those 99% of those of us who can't or won't program": Corona uses Lua, so I'd guess it'd turn a lot of people off who don't want to use a programming language.
