Upsizing to iPad Problem

Hey everyone!

I'm converting some of my older iPhone projects to iPad and have run into a problem with GS. I am using a UB method I am currently working on for the scaling (you can check that out in its separate thread). I added higher-res graphics and all looks dandy -- except for text. All the text showing up is blurry as hell.

I noticed this seemed to be an issue a couple years back, and then people stopped talking about it. Was that because it got solved, or simply they got used to the fact that Display Text cannot be trusted in this?

Anyway, this is quite problematic, because it mean text rendering is not being passed to iOS, which handles text beautifully, but is somehow preprocessed by GS itself...hmm!

Any tips what I might have missed (the problem stays whether Resolution Independence is on or off)? @BlackCloakGS‌ is this a known issue, if so, is a solution in the works?

    Text in GS sucks period. This has always been the case. GS has explained many times how difficult it is to add new text to the way the current creator is built. I imagine it will be different in the new cross platform creator as that is a new from the ground up build.

    OK! Sucks, but good to know it's the same issue as back then and I'm not missing anything.

    Here's hoping the new Creator will change that!
