IAPs on App store - worth it?
As I prepare to relaunch my first new game, I did build a small IAP but later removed it prior to launch and instead opted to sell the game on Amazon and Google Play.
It didn't sell well but when switched to free, did a lot better (as it should!). With this in mind, I am considering reintroducing the IAP (purchase more lives) and making the app free. The main reason for making it free, is that its an Xmas game and I can't really see people parting with $0.99 for a single game based around a holiday.
Importantly, players will earn more lives in the game so could max their lives over an hour period, if they run out.
I was wondering if any of you folks have IAPs and have they done well? Well as in over 1k revenue.

IAP is the current model for monetizing games, as well as ads. We usually try to have two IAP one to turn off ads and some other feature.
