Saving Release Candidate to Stable Release?

Since the 12.4 stable release has now actually become a Release Candidate, will this cause problems in opening a game file when the next stable release becomes available? Is this an issue in general?

No you can change the file extension to .gameproj and open it in the stable creator.

What is the latest stable release 11.1.1 or 12.4??

@The_Gamesalad_Guru‌ ok thx for clarifying. I'm assuming the next stable release will be a higher version than 12.4 and not one of the 11's? Just hoping that the next stable release won't give me the "this project was created with a newer version of the creator and cannot be opened" error
