Testing my app in sandbox mode on gamecenter in IOS 8

Hi
I have upgraded my phone to IOS 8 but it not longer shows my gamecenter. Says that my app is not recognised.
It was working in IOS 7.

How do we test now though Adhoc and Itunes? Is it possible anymore?
It looks like the testflight option makes you submit tests to apple every time. I just want a simple way to test often before coming up with a final app to test.

I have done some research and found this post:

You should turn on the GC sandbox mode.

go to settings --> game center

scroll to the bottom, there is a "sandbox" swith under "developer".

(Important! - These developer options are hidden until you have connected the device to XCode 6. If you didn't use XCode and deployed your app in some other way - e.g. Testflight, iPCU, iTunes, then you will not see these options)

Yep when you plug in your device it asks if you want to use this device for development and adds or open a new option developer in settings on the device.

Thanks heaps. I did this but it didn't show. I did have issues updating so I had to restore my iphone and it loaded ios 8. What I did do is plug it in and went into the settings/ gamecenter. It showed the sandbox button then. All working great! Greatly appreciated.

When you first open xcode and plug in your device go to window device and you will see your device downloading stuff and being setup for development. Wait until it completes.

Can you describe all the steps... I just don't get it... How to test gamecenter? Should I create a ad hoc testing? Ad a sandbox user? How I put the app on my iphone? Using testflight or directly with Xcode? What do you mean by "go to settings --> game center"??

I just don't get it... It is funny how everything is complicated with Apple. Nothing is simple... compared, for example, with Android.

I use adhoc for testing on gamecenter. Make sure your codes are done on apple and in your game centre document.

Go to settings, game center on your phone that you are testing on to check it is in sandbox mode.

    regards
