I like to support the community so any advice as to which GS games I should buy? I have recently purchased Jungle Bug and I LOVE it... what other GS games have been crafted to that high quality? I might have to pick up Doodle Ski and Doodle Cannon shortly...

I'm hoping to get a test build out to friends later today for some much needed feedback.
You can see an example screen here, that doesn't give anything away: http://gamesalad.com/forums/topic.php?id=6339
I think you'll like it. It's an old-school shooter I can't speak from experience, but there seems to be a consensus on this!
Cheers,

There are, of course, numerous fine games created with GS, and I'm sure you've heard of the more popular titles, like Danger Cats, Kill the King, etc., but below are a few you may not be aware of that have stuck a chord with me for various reasons.
Walk the Line (by Zilla)
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/walk-the-line/id351205688?mt=8
I like the simple, stylized artwork, nice music and simple gameplay.
Sami Paws (by maniraptor)

The audacity and bizarreness of this app just cracked me up.
Jumples (by mrfunkleberry)

Excellent use of audio, both in the voice recordings and the music. Beautiful artwork, well executed layering (stylized 3d with transparent drop shadows and parallax effect) and fun gameplay.
Matching Match (by Atlanten)
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/matching-match/id359891081?mt=8
This one is a very simple game, but the original artwork and music and quirky styling really grabbed me. Plus, it has a funky 3D option (for use with 3D glasses).
Scoreless: Mozart To Infinity (by scorelessmusic)
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/scoreless-mozart-to-infinity/id357410014?mt=8
This is just brilliant in execution. No idea how it works, or how it was accomplished in GS, but damn.
Orbots Attack (by Huge Graphics)
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/orbots-attack/id353356009?mt=8
Excellent use of png transparency to simulate 3D.
Oh Nuts (by Jhass)
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/oh-nuts/id333251039?mt=8
Okay, this one will not knock you down with breath taking graphics, but it is such a simple and fun little game, I can't seem to delete it from my phone. I often just pop it up to occupy a free minute.
...Oh, and I like my games as well!

Food Fight! (free) http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/food-fight/id352646643?mt=8
I started building a 3d engine a while ago (oldskool Sega style) but not messed with it for a few months.
Be interesting to see what you have come up with.
How did you go with the 2.5D engine? I have it working but only as long as you're driving in a straight line. LOL. I have some ideas for cornering too but it gets very complicated... I don't even want to think about hills!
Anyway, I'm finishing off Max Vector (my R-Type styled shooter) before I progress onto Max Vector Racing and Project Downforce
