Organizing graphics, sounds, music and actors

This is probably more of a product suggestion rather than a question, but perhaps I am missing something. Other than using a scene to organize things, it would seem to me that even within a scene there is a need to organize assets a little more. It is really difficult to manage many images, actors, sounds, etc without better organizational tools. Also, the images in the library, there is no option to view the images in a list or a way to deal with file names that are a little large.

Am I missing something?

Yep, it can be a nightmare to manage assets on a large project without a folder system. You can assign actors tags and view the actors by those tags, so that offers a little organisation for actors, but with images the current system has no way to organise your work, it all just gets thrown into a single panel.
