should i go PRO?

Hi i am about to publish my first game. I read somewhere that if you are using the free version of the creator gamesalad puts ads in the game so they can make money. Is this true? If it is true, would they still put ads if i make my game $.99 and not free? Would the only way gamesalad not make money off my app if i become pro?

Thanks

Yes, it's true that GameSalad places ads in all free users games. Yes, they'll still do it if your app is $0.99.

Yes, but you'd still be purchasing PRO so you'd still be supporting them which is not a bad thing. PRO is very much worth it. I don't know how I would use GameSalad without PRO.

No you don't have to remake your game, it will work the same as it does now.

Dont go pro. Not till you have turned the free version inside and out. No sense in you paying while you learn. Especially when its still in beta. And man do I mean BETA. I say dont go pro, until they release a non beta version. Make sure the contractor can actually build the house before you go looking for and buying man cave accessories.

So having made back my $300 investment plus extra wasn't worth going pro?

I do agree with not going pro until ready but not to the quote in bold.
