How can i make my character NOT to move things around?

Hey there!

I´m fairly new with Gamesalad so bare with me… I´ve gone through Cookbook and many tutorials to learn the basics of Gamesalad. Now i´m currently making my first little game.

I have a problem with my character pushing another actor around the screen.

In the game there is big rocks falling from the sky. The problem is that when my character actor collides with the rock, it will push it. What i want is the character to stop, and the rock not to move.
I´ve tried everything that comes to my mind, but i can´t seem to solve this.

Can someone please help me?

Click on your actors and on the actor attributes change the physics as desired.

What raycur09 said, but don't forget to adjust both actors, it's no good having a ball made from stone to stop it from bouncing if the walls are still made out of rubber.

I´ve tried that, but if the "movable" attribute is unchecked, my character won't move and the rock won't fall down.

No one has suggested you uncheck 'movable' ?

Just make the density of the rock a high number and the character density to 0

Everything else is set like in the picture above (for the character, the rock and the ground) , but the rock still moves if the character collides with it.

I think the suggestion was to play around with the physics values rather than copy what was posted.
