Designed App in Platform-Landscape, Rejected (2.10) in App Store, Need to Redo For Ipad-Landscape
Hey Everyone,
I recently submitted my first app and it got rejected for the following reason:
"2.10: iPhone Apps must also run on iPad without modification, at iPhone resolution, and at 2X iPhone 3GS resolution"
If I started my app with the platform "Iphone Landscape" selected how do I best transform this to work for Ipads as well?
If I switch the platform resolution at this point from Iphone to Ipad Landscape, obviously, everything is too small for the Ipad layout.
Do I essentially need to start from scratch on this one? Redo the graphics and just copy/paste the rules and such over?
If I do redesign the app with the Ipad Landscape platform selected then when it goes to the Iphone won't it still look funny? The Aspect ratios are different so how do you design for both?
I'm used to web design, responsive CSS with %'s, but obviously that is not an option in GameSalad. How do I achieve a sort of Responsivity and make the game look and work on both Iphone and Ipad?
Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!
Thanks,
-Mearl

Just try publishing it as a universal build and letterbox as the scaling option. If that doesn't work do stretch. I vaguely remember there is a bug with iPhone only apps running on iPads.
