Windows 8 Portrait Orientation not displaying correctly

I have an app that I would like to show only as portrait size on a Windows 8 tablet.

When I load it to the surface it shows in portrait on the landscape screen. So it does not fill the whole screen.

When I sign all other apps it lets you select the orientation.

How do I get it to fit in portrait mode on the surface? I built it as an ipad app with universal stretch.

I have checked the code for each scene at the autorotation is set to portrait only.

I am using the latest gamesalad RC to test and have also tested in 11.1 stable version

I think win8 apps will always display in the orientation you hold them; I don't think you can set it. It's been awhile since I built a win8 app , but if you manually rotate the device what happens?

It displays as shown in the picture. It does not rotate to portrait at all. I hope that they fix it an allow a checkbox so that you can choose between landscape and portrait just like the apple and android publishing.
