Amazon question...I'm losing my hair...

Has anyone managed to find a way to publish a game to Amazon with Gamesalad and Incorporate ads?

If so would you mind me picking your brains as I'm currently pulling my hair out ...in clumps!

Using chartboost. Importantly, you need to place your app ID in Gamesalad - services - Chartboost. One for Amazon and one for Android/google play if you are publishing there. These will be two different ID numbers.

Thanks but my problem is specific to Amazon.

I've managed to get Revmob ads into my Amazon game but when you click on them they link to Google Play store therefore Amazon reject them. Just wondered if anyone managed to get ads that link to Amazon Store into your Android build? If so I'd love to know how to do it.

    Thanks

The video and how you create ads in your game is the same for google and Amazon. The only difference being the App ID. You must have copied and pasted the wrong app ID from chartboost in your Gamesalad services/chartboost area.

For my game in Amazon i just made a revmob id for android and amazon and put them both in gamesalad publishing portal [ Services - Revmob - Android key in Android & Amazon key in Kindle ]. Then just published under the Android tab.

You know what? I'm guessing I'm having the same problem. I have so many impressions and clicks in my Chartboost dashboard for Amazon but no install. I have thousands of installs of my game as well but it is not generating any money. I think when the user clicks an ad, it prompts an error as it does not have Google Play in the device. I have no Amazon device so I cannot test.

    Anyone guys? @BigDave‌ @jigglybean‌

Amazon users probably click but don't install. You need to look at the type of ads your game is displaying. If its games like Clash of clans, chances are people will already have it, so won't click to install.

If you can post screen shots on how you have set up the adverts, would be a start because its like running blind

Can I just double check....has everyone that says they have ads on their Amazon apps actually downloaded their app from the Amazon store and clicked on their ad to see if it links to the Amazon store and not Google Play?

Also the problem with only having the Amazon key in the Kindle slot within Gamesalad services is that that slot supports Kindle only. I want to publish to multiple devices on Amazon, not just Kindle.

It's working fine in Android. Redirects to Google Play. I don't know about Amazon though. Chartboost dashboard shows it's SDK integrated and shows number of impressions and clicks. But not one install. I don't think it's accidental clicks as I have the same setup in iOS and Google Play and it shows installs.

Yes it all works fine for me on Android on Google Play too. But Android on the Amazon store still links back to Google Play which is no good.

It would be really useful to find out if others have tried their Amazon apps to see if they are doing the same. It's really easy, just download the Amazon store to your Android phone and download your app to check.
