Camera Help

super n00b here. I could use some help.

When I preview my game the camera does not snap to my protagonist. I have Programed "control camera" and even shrank the camera bars in the scene. is my character too small (24/24)? The camera follows when I scroll left or right and when I rise to a certain height but when I descend below a certain point I can't see him.

I am thinking that the scene selector at the bottom of the preview screen is simply in the way. Is there a way to hide it?

Click the film strip button on the top left of the preview window to get rid of the scene select.
