How to create control like super hexagon?

Hi everyone,

Maybe some of you know super hexagon, a brilliant and highly addictive game.
Now i'm developing a project that needs a control similiar to super hexagon. Tap left to orbit counterclockwise, and tap right to orbit clockwise.

Any help would be very appreciated :)
