Can the Request IAP Data be used in Ad Hoc Testing?

Basically I had a problem with my game freezing. I figured it out that it is the Request IAP Data function at the start of the game that is causing the freeze. Can this be turned on in Ad Hoc? Or can I just turn it on when I am ready to send to apple

I am testing different removals of home screen features and republishing. It is not iAds, as removing them from the game has not done a single thing different.
Well after some playing around I realized it was the In app purchase request data function. I will look into fixing that
