Has anyone tried to Publish with iOS4?

I keep getting the dreaded "The binary you uploaded was invalid. The signature was invalid, or it was not signed with an Apple submission certificate."

I've gone through creating the certificates no less than seven times. I installed the latest xcode. I have a second developer account and even went ahead and deleted those certificates in my keychain access program incase they were causing any sort of miscommunication. I've even gone so far as to reinstall Game Salad.

No matter what I do, Apple doesn't seem to want to accept my binary.

So I'm left wondering if it's not even possible to submit right with the beta 4.0 iOS on your mac. More than anything I just want to know if anyone else has succeeded in updating their app in the last three days with all the new software?

Thanks in advance,

You can't submit with OS4 beta. Said it in big letters on the accept download screen ;)

lol.. I didn't see that at the time POLYGAMe. Where was that listed? in Game Salad's info?

According to the developers site, Apple has started accepting iOS4 builds today. I, however, am still having this issue with the binary being invalid when I upload. My adhoc build works perfectly.

Has anyone else tried to submit with iOS4 today?

This is sounding to me like it might win the "dumb question of the day" award, but...

Can iDevices running previous versions of iOS run iOS 4 games?

@barkbark00 - Yeah, unless the application utilizes something specific to the new OS version. In our case with GameSalad It shouldn't be a problem.

    Yet...

And in the once there is OS 4 specific stuff, I imagine we wont be calling that a "problem" as it will probably be iAd! ;-)

Well one drastically significant change this time around with the new version is that it is FREE for all devices.

When 3.0 came out it cost money to update your iPod Touch. Because of this it became very important to make sure your apps worked with both versions as many people did not want to pay for the update. This time however since there is no charge there is not much reason to be concerned about that as everyone can freely (and will likely) update to 4.0

And yes - iAd would be appreciated greatly in GS.

@AkioAkemi, have your resolved your issues with the uploading? I am facing the same problem now and have done all the steps you have taken. Kinda worked up.
