Hey there! I'm developing a 2d side scrolling Platformer game like supermario and my each game level/scene is of 50k+width and with more then 250 actors per scene , I'm using gamesalad beta and it's ok not much buggy , but I want to ask that will it run good on devices and what if I buy pro will it be a diference between pro and beta in processor and performance'
And what's your largest game width and your largest game size? Cause I think my game will be more then 200 mb '

there is no performance difference between pro and beta. build an adhoc and play on devices to test performance

I built a 2D Platformer and my scenes were 12k wide at max and on app store was 86.4 MB. 50k wide is just over 48 iPad screens wide thats a lot of area to fill.
World 1-1 on Super Mario is only 3584 pixels wide and Mario at max is 16x32 for comparison.
heres my old WIP thread.

Can you change scenes at one point (like half way have a teleporter that sends you to another scene/world)? Seems like if the device were to render 12k wide it would be laggy. Thats just off the top of my head. It might be fine for you.
You could but no reason to.
I have 32 scenes for main game 28 of them are 11264 and 4 are 12288 in width and testing game on iPad mini it ran just fine.
