Itunes Connect App Status "In Review" for 36 hours so far

I have submitted apps countless times.. usually a standard procedure. Around 7 days of "waiting for review" and usually 2-8 hours of "in review" depending on if they find an issue quick or if they go through the whole thing and approve it. This is actually one of my lighter games.. less images, less going on in general. Just a simple arcade game.

Is it abnormal that it has been that long?

It is not abnormal, it happens from time to time. Hopefully you will get an acceptance email before the weekend.

Longest for me was 4 days "in review". Longest I've heard of was over a month.
